Put a Pin(cushion) In It

The knit cactus pincushion made from DMC Woolly yarn. The knit cactus pincushion.

We know there are a lot of patterns for pincushions out there. Some are no nonsense and prosaic, others have some serious personality. Over here at DMC headquarters, we tend to favor the ones with a little verve. After all, stitching is a creative endeavor, so why shouldn’t the accessories you surround yourself with also excite your imagination? That’s why we love this pattern for a pair of knit cactus pincushions. C’mon! They're cactuses… with “needles” coming out of them! They somehow manage to be both on the nose and hilarious.

We would be remiss if we also didn't mention that these desert-inspired patterns call for DMC Woolly yarn. Meaning, they may look like toughies, but they'll be nice and soft to the touch (minus the pins of course!).
